Ege is a Master’s student at the Department of Computer Science, University of British Columbia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University. His favorite activities, even more so now at UBC, are spending hours walking through library stacks to pick books, walking and talking, and starting new research projects.
Ege's research focus is on crafting novel interactive technologies driven by machine learning, sensors and computer vision. While the range of applications for such novel interaction techniques are essentially unlimited, the end goal is to carry everything around humans to a smarter future.
