The Designing for People Research Cluster's physical space is located on the UBC Point Grey campus in UBC's Forest Sciences Centre, FSC Suite 2300. The DFP Suite includes 3 spaces: the DFP Classroom, where most of our events and courses are held; the DFP Studio, a project lab and lounge (including sofas and an excellent coffee machine - come hang out), and the Vault (come and see for yourself).

The Forestry building is indicated by the red arrow below:

To find the DFP classrooms (FSC 2330, 2331, and 2333), enter the Forestry building with Tim Horton's on your right. Walk through the open atrium and up the stairs to the second floor. Path is shown below using red arrows.

Once on the second floor, turn left and go through the set of double doors. The DFP suite of classrooms will be on your right. Path is shown below using red arrows (suite indicated by purple star).

The DFP office is on the 3rd floor. Here you'll find our Research Facilitator, Cluster Coordinator and Admin/Communications Assistant. 

To locate the DFP office, enter the Forestry building and use the elevator beside Tim Hortons. Turn left as you exit the elevator, then turn left again. Room 3641 is at the end of the hallway on the right. Path is shown below using red arrows (suite indicated by purple star).

Find Parking

There are several parking lots near us, but the closest are B4 Lot (open-air) and Thunderbird Parkade. These lots are marked with a purple star below:
