Identifying Sepsis in Infants Using Infrared Bedside Video Cameras

This project investigates the potential use of IR bedside video cameras to detect sepsis in infants. The purpose of this work is to allow rapid, real-time assessment using video of life-threatening sepsis with an app on smart phones.
Holsti and team will be using a variety of infant indicators, such as skin color, body movements, respiratory rate and heart rate to develop via AI an algorithm for detection.
