DFP helped sponsor the 2019 IEEE VIS West Coast Party on Thursday Oct 24 (co-sponsors UW, Tableau, SFU, UVic, and UC-Merced). Coorganized by DFP Core member Tamara Munzner, the party showcased the strong visualization presence in Cascadia, and ties between Vancouver and Seattle, and had over 350 attendees! This is DFP's second year sponsoring.
