Anind Dey, Professor and Dean of the iSchool at the University of Washington, visited DFP for two days in November. He gave a talk on design and interactive technology at our DFP@UBC seminar, and visited various DFP labs, including the SPIN lab.
DFP faculty held several meetings with Professor Dey to discuss relationship building between UBC and UW. Collaborations between Arcadia schools (UBC, UW, and SFU) would strengthen the design community and foster innovative research.
