I am currently a PhD student at UBC. I received two Master’s in Design (Visual Communication Design and Industrial Design) and had a Bachelor in Computer Engineering. My previous design research was in the areas of service design, strategy design, information visualization, design for older adults, and design for health. I have had experiences in designing specific qualitative methods and adopted for research, cultural probes, and co-design for instance. In addition, I have worked outside of academia as a service designer and design manager.
How technologies could help and improve the quality of life, particularly for vulnerable groups, is the central area of my interest.
I am very interested in human-centered design approaches like participatory methods, which allow me to collaborate with future users of products and services closely.
