Faqia is currently a Master’s student at the Computer Science department at UBC. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences), where she worked on projects related to Usable Security and Privacy, and Internet Measurements. She enjoys research and coming up with innovative solutions to unique problems, as well as collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds.
Research Interests
Faqia’s primary focus is on finding novel and effective ways to research the users’ perspectives on digital privacy and security, and then aiding them in cultivating security and privacy-conscious habits. The goal is to do this in a way that is inclusive of individuals from all ages, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds.
