Hanieh is currently a Master’s student with the Sensory Perception and Interaction Research Group at UBC Computer Science. Hanieh's research interests include Human-Computer Interaction - specifically Haptics and Multimodal Interaction - as well as Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

She received a BSc. in Interactive Arts and Technology with a minor in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in 2018, where she worked with the Connections Lab in HCI, researching about communication and gameplay technologies for distance-separated friends and families. She also worked with the iVizLab, where her research was about the use of Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning) in art generation and non-photorealistic rendering.

Research Interests

Hanieh's research interests include Human-Computer Interaction - specifically Haptics and Multimodal Interaction - as well as Computer Vision. She holds a BSc. in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University with a minor in Computer Science.
