Masters' Student
Information School

I am a second year Master’s of Library and Information Science student at the iSchool. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Media and Communication Studies, with a minor in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. During my undergraduate degree, I worked on a thesis project at the intersection of video games, livestreaming, and gender, and these experiences led me to the iSchool to continue to study how people interact with information and information systems through an interdisciplinary lens. Within the iSchool I am a research assistant working on the STOREE project and I am passionate about equitable systems design.

Research Interests

I am broadly interested in knowledge representation, metadata, classification and organization, and how communities interact with and build their own information systems. I am also interested in the problems of inclusion, exclusion, and equity in these areas.
