Preeti Vyas is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science at UBC. She is working with Prof. Karon MacLean and her group at the SPIN lab. Preeti completed her master’s degree at McGill University where she was a part of Shared Reality Lab, directed by Prof. Jeremy Cooperstock. She did her bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT-Bhopal, India. Apart from research, she performs in open mics, creates doodles, and explores places while walking.

Preeti's core research areas include human-computer/robot interaction, haptics, user-experience, and motor learning in humans.
