Hi! I'm a Master’s student at the Department of Computer Science, University of British Columbia. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2018. Since then, I've worked as a Software Engineer, Web Developer, and UI/UX Designer, learning how to design and develop full-fledged applications. In my spare time, you'll probably find me drawing on my iPad or clicking pictures, ideally surrounded by dogs.
Research Interests
My research interests lie at the intersection of healthcare and human-computer interaction. Specifically, my focus is on wearable sensors: integrating such sensors in everyday life, data gathering and analysis, and utilizing the data for providing enhanced healthcare. I am also interested in the potential of wearable sensors to increase accessibility of healthcare, through various means like providing remote data collection and remote therapy. My overall research goal remains to create problem-solving user-centered applications that can be used to enhance the quality of human life.
