Computational Thinking in Libraries and Media Centres
Incorporating Inexpensive Technology into School Curriculum
Lead: Eric Meyers
This project explores how librarians and teacher-librarians are incorporating inexpensive technologies (coding apps, Raspberry Pis, programmable robots) to meet the new emphasis on computer science education in the early grades, with the goal of identifying and propagating curricular innovation. Funded by OCLC, Inc. and UBC. Eric Meyers is currently editing a special issue of the journal Information and Learning Science on the topic.
