Historical Children’s Literature: Questions, Materials and Methods

Using UBC's Historical Resources As Teaching Material

Lead: Eric Meyers

This project, funded by UBC TLEF, is developing a replicable, distributed, and blended learning structure for the teaching of historical children’s literature and archival/historical practices. The project is focused on the development of a 3-credit course and flexible learning objects suitable for use at other institutions and with other historical collections of children’s literature, along with digitization of significant historical collections held by UBC. It will improve the availability and use, locally and internationally, of UBC’s unique historical resources.
