My name is Mui Tanprasert, and I'm a PhD-track Master's student in computer science at UBC. I grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and did my undergraduate degree at Pomona College, USA, majoring in computer science. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading fictions, and watching sports.
Research Interests
My areas of interests encompass human-computer interaction, natural language processing, and machine learning, and I'm particularly interested in working at their intersections. My research experiences range from neural network theory and medical text simplication to eye-tracking in remote collaboration. In terms of domain, I currently find myself drawn to projects whose aim is to enhance remote communication and improve information and technology accessibility.
