Samuel is a PhD candidate at the UBC iSchool (Library, Archival and Information Studies). His work draws on information retrieval and human-computer interaction in the design and evaluation of tools for the retrieval and use of heterogeneous types of information (e.g., collections of audio, images, text, and video).
