Masters' Student
Computer Science

Hey there, I did my undergraduate degree in B.A. Cognitive Systems - Languages at UBC. I've also completed the BrainStation UX Design diploma program. As a driven lifelong learner, my personal and academic stories are grounded in language, education, and technology. These three pillars provide the foundation for my passion and interests in HCI while naturally fostering human connections.

During my undergrad, I began working with the SPIN Research Group on design prototypes for HapticsCommons, a resource and community platform for the haptics community. I'm continuing this work with SPIN to make this platform live soon.

Outside of academia, I continue to find ways to build human connections. I love learning languages, exploring different cultures, and travelling. I'm also an active member of the Vancouver street dance community. Feel free to connect with me!

Research Interests

My research goals focus on crafting and articulating information to help researchers, designers, and casual explorers effectively navigate and learn within their spaces with respect to their unique and diverse perspectives. My work will aim to further design and develop the HapticsCommons prototype to be a high-fidelity resource and community platform. With education as a core pillar of mine, I am interested in investigating whether instructional design can support the navigation of this platform to better prepare the platform for the haptics community and the general public.
