The Designing for People Research Cluster is concluding in April 2024.

Thank you for your invaluable support and dedication throughout the years!

Who Are We?

UBC's Designing for People (DFP) research network is a center of excellence for human-centered design. We accelerate creativity at the nexus of social and technical problem-solving, by promoting interdisciplinary teamwork and methods, finding new paths to societal impact through partners and community, and creating resources that are sharable by DFP researchers and partners.

What Do We Do?

At UBC and beyond, we're fostering an environment that can inspire and integrate our research outputs and graduates. The best way to understand us is to see what we do. Our cluster is organized around pillars of our people, grad training program, research, translation and outreach - all working closely with our diverse partner network.
